Little Black Dress Exchange 2026
Jul. 5th, 2026 02:27 pmHi guys!
I love the Little Black Dress Exchange as a rabid multishipper lol. This year I'm requesting a mix of kdramas and cdramas, and asking for either art or fanfic for all of them.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you make :D
Where to Find These Canons:
Parallel World is available on Youtube here or on Viki here.
The Vendetta of An is available on Netflix.
Mr. Sunshine is available on Netflix.
New World is available on Prime Video here.
Parallel World/West Out of Yumen
Requesting: Ye Liuxi, F/F, F/M, F/F/F, F/M/F, F/M/M, F/Many
Opt-ins: Self-cest, non-canon versions of characters (but NOT gender bending)
Opt-out: Incest, RPF
DNW: Ye Liuxi/Fei Tang
Ye Liuxi is my favorite thing about this drama, and she's such a badass. I ship her with just about anyone, and am fine with multi-shipping.
I am good with both very functional and very dysfunctional relationship dynamics for her. Wholesome teamwork! Treacherous backstabbing! (Also fine with non/dub-con but please do not have a male character non-con her.)
Some fic ideas:
-Ye Liuxi saving someone
-Ye Liuxi capturing someone
-Ye Liuxi threatening or fighting someone with her big knife
-Ye Liuxi getting amnesia in a different way from canon (e.g., later in canon she forgets everything up to now in canon and only remembers being Ye Qingzhi, or maybe she forgets her relationship with a specific person)
-Ye Liuxi meeting one of the normal Earth people in her identity as Ye Qingzhi
-Ye Liuxi either seduces or marries someone for political reasons (she is, after all, the leader of the Scorpion Eyes)
Or, for art:
-BIG KNIFE
-Ye Liuxi fighting
-Ye Liuxi being a little femdommy (maybe a kabedon, or her looming over someone?)
-Characters tied up, behind bars, in chains, getting strangled, etc (these things seem to happen a lot in canon, soooo.)
The Vendetta of An
Requesting: Xie Huai'an, M/M, M/M/M
Opt-ins: Self-cest, non-canon versions of characters (but NOT gender bending)
Opt-out: Incest, RPF
DNW: Xie Huai'an/Ye Zheng as the only ship - if you want to include Ye Zheng in a poly situation or as a background ship, that's fine.
Xie Huai'an is so tragic and so focused on revenge. I am not sure he's in the headspace to pursue a romantic relationship, but 1) he is so sexy and a lot of other characters find him very interesting and I believe THEY would pursue HIM, and 2) if it would advance his revenge plans, I believe he would seduce someone with ulterior motives.
I'm completely down with dub-con or non-con for any ship here. But wholesome ships are also welcome - he does deserve people being nice to him, poor dude.
Some fic ideas:
-Xie Huai'an gets captured or captures someone. (This happens in canon, obviously, and I'd be fine with exploring any of those situations, but non-canon captivity is also fun.)
-Xie Huai'an rescues someone.
-Xie Huai'an seduces someone so they will help him with his revenge plans, or so he can get information from them
-Hurt/comfort scenario (Xie Huai'an could be whumpee or comforter, either way). Someone's sick or got stabbed or something, and must be cared for!
-Identity porn where someone doesn't immediately know Xie Huai'an is Liu Zhi. (This does happen a couple times in canon, and I'm good with exploring those situations, but also if his secret identity was a little less of a well-known secret, that would be nice.)
-Any getting-together scenario, especially if the ship you write is really implausible. I would love to see how you'd make it work.
-Miiiind gaaaaaames.
Some art ideas:
-Snow getting in ppl's hair or clothes
-Hurt-comfort scenario, someone lying sick or injured in bed
-Xie Huai'an's big furry collared cloak
-Xie Huai'an's "don't look at me, I'm so normal" dark navy or gray outfits
-People holding knives or swords, maybe fighting
-Candles or firelight
Mr. Sunshine
Requesting: Eugene Choi, M/F, M/F/F, M/F/M, M/M, M/M/M
Opt-ins: Self-cest, non-canon versions of characters (but NOT gender bending)
Opt-out: Incest, RPF
DNW: Eugene/Gu Dong-mae/Kim Hui-seong
DNW non-con for this fandom specifically.
I love Eugene. His complicated feelings about his nationality (is he Korean or American or both?). His political schemes, his personal involvement that develops immediately with the political situation. The fact that he acts kind of upright but also immediately committed an assassination on arrival.
Also, I think everyone in the show is at least a little in love with him. (And perhaps also with Ae-sin, but that's another matter.)
Some fic ideas:
-Political tangles and Eugene having mixed loyalties
-Eugene threatening people (and perhaps people threatening Eugene back)
-Someone learns about Eugene's tragic backstory and talks to him about it or reacts to it in some way
-Outsider POV on an improbable relationship
-Hurt/comfort with Eugene as either whumpee or comforter
Some art ideas:
-I love the outfits in this show. Eugene's uniform, Ae-sin's male disguise, Hui-seong's suits, Dong-mae's Japanese attire, Kudo Hina's elegant dresses... Any of them would be lovely to see.
-Nighttime scenes
-Ice or snow
-Guns and swords
-Hotel balcony or lobby setting
New World
Requesting: Lee Joong-gu, M/M, M/M/M
Opt-ins: Self-cest, non-canon versions of characters (but NOT gender bending)
Opt-out: Incest, RPF
Lee Joong-gu is such a rude, scheming and yet hot-headed jerk. I don't think any relationship involving him is going to be all that peaceful, but I'm fine with a range from bickering to non-con or murder.
Some fic ideas:
-People getting kidnapped, arrested, threatened... all that violent gangster stuff you would expect.
-Joong-gu seducing someone (or trying to seduce someone) for gang politics related reasons.
-Joong-gu surviving the ending of the movie somehow. What would he do in the aftermath?
-Outsider POV on what might appear to be an unlikely couple.
-I don't have a lot of other ideas that don't specify a ship, but as I've requested several ships for this movie before, feel free to look at my old letters (particularly this one).
Some art ideas:
-Fancy gangster suits
-Knives
-Handcuffs or restraints
-Noir-ish lighting, black and white art or limited palette
-A bunch of gangsters surrounding the couple (maybe just as outlines or shadows, this sounds like a lot of work to draw)
That's all from me! Looking forward to seeing your creation!
