Since I was before then vaguely trying to keep this journal updated, I'm making a post here of all the fics I've written between April 1 and July 3. I don't know how many that will be yet, but we'll see. Since it's probably gonna be hella long, I'm not giving the summary as usual, only title, word count, and ship. Hm. I think my goal for the next couple months will be to write more gen, maybe. I feel like I don't write as much of it as I'd like. Also maybe some longer fics. Anyways, yeah, that's what I've been up to.

Date: 2019-07-06 05:21 am (UTC)I'm pretty good; I'm flatting now and working a temp job (not in my field of study, but it's a full-time job and it's money). Things seem pretty stable, even though my job isn't permanent. And I miss having time to read! It's the middle of winter so on weekdays I both leave my house and arrive home in the dark. How do grownups have time to work, sleep, and do stuff they actually like??? Wild.
Anyway, it's been ages since we last spoke (er, typed?). What are you up to these days?

Date: 2019-07-09 06:21 am (UTC)Yeah, unfortunately having a driver's license is pretty much a necessity when you're job hunting. I've had my learner's for like 2.5 years lol, but I'm sitting the test for my restricted license next week! Will you be learning in an automatic or a manual?
The days are short since it's the middle of winter. My work hours are pretty standard but I have to take 2 buses, so I leave before 7am and get home around 5.30pm. Fingers crossed I can finally have the whole weekend at home so I can make the most of being home during daylight. I got the news that my temp contract is being extended by another couple of weeks, so that's good. But for my next job I definitely want to work closer to home!
