Some reading thoughts...
Dec. 22nd, 2018 07:46 pm Around Thanksgiving I snagged three months of Kindle Unlimited at a very cheap price, something I've always wanted to do. So many books that interested me were on KU :) and it's been good, but I think I've learned that KU would never be worth it for me at the normal price. I've DNF'ed more books than I've finished, and only actually finished two books. Both cost $2.99, and a month of KU costs $10--so if this is how fast I would read KU books on average, I'd be better off just buying the books!
That said, I have two months to go, so we'll see if I read more KU books through February...anyways, while I'm on that subject, the two books I did read were Daisy Crowns by Olivia Larkin (1800s f/f romance) and No Strings Attached by Mina V. Esguerra (contemporary m/f romance set in the Philippines) and they were both quite enjoyable.
I'm thinking maybe what I should use my remaining KU time for is reading books by authors I already know are good? Quite a few have books on KU that I was planning on waiting around to buy...hm...
