Femslash After Dark (2018)
Jun. 26th, 2018 08:16 pmHey man! I'm excited for this fic exchange, had a really hard time narrowing down my requested ships. I love femslash :) and I'm especially happy because I prefer femslash that isn't mostly fluff, and the "After Dark" aspect of this exchange seems promising in that area. So, first of all, I like smut but if you want to write a fic that's mature in some other way--mature themes, graphic violence, dark fic, idk--go right ahead; smut isn't something I absolutely need from this exchange and as long as you pay attention to my DNWs I'm up for some fucked up stuff.

Avatar: The Last Airbender:
-Azula/Ty Lee: For some reason I’d really like to see some BDSM here, preferably with Azula as sub but either way. She trusts Ty Lee, believes she can relax around her, and I feel like Ty Lee totally knows her way around sex and kink. On the other hand I’d really like to see them just confiding in each other and being really close, especially if Azula can tell Mai is slowly going over to Zuko’s side. During canon or an AU would be ideal here, but pre-canon or post-canon is also good. Alternatively, there's a large power imbalance here and we all know Azula manipulates Ty Lee and threatens her, so going dark or dysfunctional is completely fine with me. (This is a ship where I'm fine with non-con. In fact, I prompted these two for Nonconathon, so if that interests you, look at my letter.)
Phantom of the Opera:
-Carlotta/Christine: When two divas come together, the heat goes way up! Warm and sweet is fine, but snide jealousy, manipulation, rivalry and bickering is also good. Heck, I’d even be up for some real darkness: What if Christine is using the Phantom to kick Carlotta out of the spotlight, or otherwise hurt her? What if Carlotta takes sabotage a little too far? But also, stories about them in an established relationship. Stories about how they get together. Stories about the bumps along the way. Stories that exploit the difference in age/experience. Stories about roleplaying, and the crossdressing phenomenon that is Serafimo! Two divas who are really really into each other but would never admit it because of opera politics is my new aesthetic. I will drink it from a spoon.

-Kala/Lila: I love enemies to lovers or enemies and lovers or hatesex or any level of dysfunction you bring to this ship. Lila's a lot more comfortable with sex than Kala, but on the other hand, she sees it as a tool whereas Kala sees it more as an act of intimacy. Maybe look at how things might have gone if Kala lived in Berlin or Lila lived in India and they met each other instead of Lila meeting Wolfgang. Maybe Lila and Kala are in the same cluster in this AU--would they get along or get on each other's nerves? Or, inspired by that epic finale, I'd love to see something going on in AU where Lila lives: Maybe she takes Kala hostage when the house is raided instead of shooting her, maybe they meet eyes so Lila can visit her after it's all over and fuck with her head, or maybe they have a tense prior relationship and she has conflicted feelings on having shot her. Maybe Lila looking at Kala's scar from the shooting, hm hm. Idk. Lots of possibilities. (This is a ship where I'm fine with non-con)
Stranger Things:
-Kali/Nancy: We have a bit of the good girl/bad girl vibe here, except not really; Kali only wants justice and welcomes friendship and family, and Nancy secretly enjoys adventure and a taste of the forbidden. So, I think they’d be very attracted to what each other have. And of course they both want to take on the mysterious lab, in somewhat different ways—maybe an action couple? I'm fine with dark fic for this couple--e.g. getting tortured by the lab, upside-down related horror etc.--but although I love Kali's dark side, please don't make her out to be a villain. On the smuttier side of things: Illusions! Power play, pain play, various kinds of BDSM. Comfort sex, "we just barely survived" sex. Lots of good stuff.

-Mei Lin/Jing Fei: These two I picture as an established couple, who have been together for quite a while. They might have a lot of issues relating to sexuality since they’ve both been sex workers, or they might see it as a form of power and maybe even like one-upping each other, or they might enjoy it but only allow themselves to experience real intimacy with each other. I’d really like to see Jing Fei live in a fic for these two.
-Mei Lin/Chabi: One of these two is manipulating the other. If it’s Chabi, her control is probably obvious and based off her position of power; if it’s Mei Lin, it’s probably more subtle and sexual. I’d love to see these two begrudgingly respecting each other, struggling to be the one on top (in the relationship, in bed, both?), or straight up having hate sex. Any form of power play is welcome, but actual closeness is also up there: Chabi and Mei Lin both do not trust easily so I’d love to see how they get there.
